Roll-out of the on-board energy measurement and billing system across the wider TCDD fleet — including HT65000 high-speed sets, mainline locomotives and Marmaray commuter trains — in line with EN 50463 and TSI Energy requirements.
In parallel with the EMU-225 deployment, Planck Signaling is delivering the same on-board energy measurement and billing solution across the wider TCDD fleet. The roll-out covers HT65000 and HT80100 high-speed sets, mainline electric locomotives and Marmaray commuter trainsets, equipping every vehicle with a full measurement chain on each traction power input.
Each train receives an EN 50463 / TSI Energy compliant energy meter together with current transformers and a GNSS/GSM antenna; voltage transformers are additionally fitted on the train types where they are required. Four-quadrant single-phase metering data is transmitted over GSM to TCDD Taşımacılık's central data collection platform, where consumption per unit and live status signals can be monitored through a dedicated web interface — enabling consistent settlement and energy management across the entire fleet.

Fleet-wide installation layout and component selection across HT65000, locomotives and Marmaray sets completed.
Energy meters, current transformers and GNSS antennas sourced for the full TCDD rolling-stock scope.
On-board metering chains are being installed on the various train types and integrated with the central data collection platform.
Acceptance tests and hand-over to live operation will be scheduled per train family at a later stage.
Our team of engineers and project managers are ready to bring your vision to life with precision and efficiency.
