Planck Signaling is renewing the on-board Passenger Information (PAPIS), in-train entertainment and CCTV surveillance systems on TCDD HT65000 high-speed trains with an integrated, IP-based solution. The project is one of our most strategic engagements: it covers the entire HT65000 fleet, train by train, and replaces ageing PIS and CCTV equipment with EN 50155-compliant devices designed for the demanding rail environment.
The integrated system combines location-based automatic announcements, passenger information on TFT and seat-back displays, in-train entertainment and CCTV surveillance over a single IP backbone — so audio, video, signage and security run on the same network with consistent management and diagnostics. Planning started in 2024; the first train has been delivered to TCDD, the second train is currently under acceptance testing and the remaining HT65000 sets will be renewed in the following phases.
Fleet-wide renewal plan defined with TCDD for HT65000 PAPIS, in-train entertainment and CCTV; per-train scope and rollout sequence agreed.
Integrated IP-based architecture designed; EN 50155-compliant equipment selected, network topology, TFT/seat-back display layout and CCTV coverage defined.
Extended phase covering procurement of PAPIS, entertainment and CCTV hardware together with development, configuration and integration of location-based announcement, signage and surveillance software.
First HT65000 set fully fitted with the new integrated PAPIS, in-train entertainment and CCTV system in Q4 2025; cabling, displays and CCTV cameras deployed.
Acceptance tests completed on the first HT65000 set; train delivered to TCDD and put into service with the renewed system.
Second HT65000 set fitted with the integrated PAPIS, entertainment and CCTV system following the validated first-train configuration.
Acceptance tests of the second HT65000 set are currently in progress; once validated, the train will be delivered to TCDD.
Remaining HT65000 sets to be renewed in the following phases until the entire fleet's PAPIS, in-train entertainment and CCTV systems are upgraded.
