IMS (Interactive Mobile System) is an on-board condition monitoring solution developed by Planck Signaling and delivered to TMS in 2024 for use on TCDD HT65000 high-speed trains. Sensors and communication devices installed on the train sets continuously collect 3-axis acceleration, temperature and real-time position data, providing a complete picture of train and track behaviour during operation.
A deep-learning model analyses vibration data to continuously monitor the condition of the track and on-board equipment. By learning the system's normal behaviour, the model is able to detect potential anomalies early — supporting predictive maintenance, reducing unplanned downtime and increasing fleet availability.
Monitoring goals defined with TMS for HT65000 fleet; sensor layout, on-board communication architecture and deep-learning approach designed.
On-board sensor and communication units integrated; 3-axis acceleration, temperature and position data pipelines and the deep-learning vibration model implemented.
On-train tests on HT65000 sets; data quality, communication stability and anomaly-detection performance verified against acceptance criteria.
