Planck Signaling supplied and installed HollySys on-board ETCS Level 1 and Level 2 equipment for the Gaziantep commuter rail line (Gaziray). The installation work was carried out in Sakarya on 4-car commuter trains, with 2 on-board units fitted on each train.
The scope covers one prototype train (2 on-board systems) and the serial-production fleet of 8 trains (16 on-board systems), for a total of 18 on-board ETCS installations. The end customer is Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, with TÜRASAŞ acting as the train operator/authority. Planck Signaling is responsible for sourcing the HollySys equipment as their local partner and for installing the systems on the vehicles.
